Biography

Despite not having a thick southern accent, I am an actor and writer born and raised in Memphis, TN. Truth be told, I'm fairly certain my time living in New York City and in D.C. helped negate some of those auditory nuances that some might expect from a Southerner.

But, a southern girl at heart, I am equal parts sweet and sassy in both looks and personality. Sarcasm is my communication of choice, yet I am empathetic to a fault. 

I proudly hold a Theatre & Performance Studies (as well as Medieval History - nerd alert!) degree from Georgetown University and a Masters of Arts in Secondary Education from Union University. Yep, I taught high school theatre & dance for 7 years!

In addition to acting, I am also an award-winning professional ballroom dancer, having placed in competitions across the US - including Atlanta, Chicago, and Las Vegas. Alongside my husband, I am also an award-winning playwright,  most recently placing second in the Emerald Theatre Company’s 2017 Playfest.

When I'm not filming, I enjoy leading my daughter's Girl Scout troop, photography, dance fitness, and watching my precious babies discover the world!
